School Food Programs

There are 7 elementary schools, 4 elementary school annexes, and one secondary school within the community boundaries. Each school has it’s own programming based on the specific needs of the students. Some of the schools have inner-city funding which helps with programming.

Note: There is great potential to work with the schools on food security programming. Due to time constraints we were unable to analyze the overall food security assets and gaps with all of the local schools. The TLCCFSN coordinator will be following up with the Ron Scott of the Vancouver School Board at the end of November 2007 at which time this document will be updated.
