CSA Programs

C.S.A. is a program of mutual commitment between a farm and a community of supporters. It links people directly with their source of food, providing them with the most fresh, sustainably produced food; it gives farmers a source of income at their time of highest expense (early spring). Shareholders purchase a share in the season's harvest and receive a weekly package of food. )

Pick-up at the farm. Certified Organic. $35 per week paid in advance for 16 weeks.

Nanoose Edibles Farm has offered CSA programs for many years. They are for 16 weeks, beginning in June and ending somewhere about Thanksgiving. Members pay in advance for the entire season. Each person receives the same products each week. We do not do substitutes.
There are approximately 12 items in each box made up of berries, fruit, salad materials, root vegetables, specialty vegetables and herbs. We have a pick-up at the farm.

We also offer another version of the CSA. We service buying groups of twenty or more families where product is delivered by the carton to the receiver for the buying group. The receiver divides it out into the boxes of the members to pick up. This also can include home deliveries to people who are not able to get to the drop-off point during business hours. The receiver receives a fee for their services. This is a very practical system, as it is easy of staff time and they are able to spend more them farming and much less time filling and labeling boxes.
